Section 01
1. WHAT YOU ARE JOINING
UpDash Loyalty lets you join a participating restaurant's stamp programme and work towards a fixed-amount reward. Joining is optional. You can order without joining. A loyalty card is not a payment card, bank account or cash balance.
Updash Technologies Ltd provides the platform. The participating merchant funds the reward and selects the qualifying spend, stamp target, reward amount, participating stores and eligible order types. Check these details on the programme page before joining and in Program details after joining.
Read these terms together with the programme details, the Customer Order Terms and the Client App Privacy Notice. Programme details set the specific earning and redemption conditions. Nothing here removes rights you have under applicable law.
Section 02
2. JOINING AND PARTICIPATING STORES
Sign in to your own UpDash customer account, review the programme and confirm your agreement before selecting Join. Membership belongs to that account. A favourite or a notification preference is not programme enrolment.
Only the listed stores and enabled order types count. Pickup, Delivery, Smart QR dine-in and Walk-in may have different earning and redemption eligibility. A programme can allow earning on an order type without allowing rewards to be used on that type.
Stamps from different programmes do not combine. One qualifying bill can have only one loyalty recipient.
Section 03
3. HOW TO EARN A STAMP
You earn one stamp for each qualifying, fully paid bill, once the purchase is completed and its payment is confirmed in UpDash. Spending several times the minimum on one bill still earns one stamp. Separate bills cannot be combined to reach the minimum.
Qualifying spend is eligible food after applicable discounts, including a loyalty discount. Delivery fees, service charges and tips do not count. Refunds and credits can reduce qualifying spend. Your programme page shows the minimum spend.
For eligible Pickup and Delivery orders, use the UpDash account enrolled in the programme. For an eligible in-store purchase, ask staff to attach your enrolled account to the bill using your phone number before payment. Scanning a table QR alone does not identify a loyalty recipient.
Example: a programme requires Rs 500 in qualifying food per bill, with 10 stamps unlocking Rs 100 off. A qualifying Rs 750 bill earns one stamp; a Rs 1,500 bill also earns one stamp. Two separate Rs 250 bills do not earn a stamp.
Section 04
4. WHEN YOUR REWARD IS READY
When enough available stamps have been collected, your card shows a reward ready to use. Stamps temporarily reserved for another order are not available for a second redemption.
Redeeming uses the programme's required number of stamps, not your entire balance. Using a 10-stamp reward from a balance of 11 leaves one stamp, before new earning or adjustments. The reward is a discount, not cash, and cannot be transferred between accounts or exchanged for cash or change.
Section 05
5. USING A REWARD
For eligible online Pickup or Delivery orders, select an available loyalty reward at checkout before placing the order. Review the discount and final amount before confirming. Having a reward does not apply it automatically.
For eligible in-store bills, tell staff before payment. Staff start a request for your bill. Open the request in your UpDash account, check it and approve it; share only the short-lived loyalty approval code with staff for that bill. Never share your password or account sign-in code.
Only one loyalty reward can be used per bill. Eligible food must cover the full reward value. Rewards do not pay delivery fees, service charges or tips and cannot be combined with an order-level promotional code. Item discounts may still apply; the resulting eligible food amount is what is checked.
Example: Rs 1,300 in eligible food less a Rs 100 reward leaves Rs 1,200 in food to pay, plus applicable fees. If food after that discount still meets the earning threshold, the bill may also earn one stamp.
Section 06
6. INTERNET CONNECTION AND MISSING STAMPS
Enrolment, balance checks and redemption require an internet connection. Ordinary offline selling does not guarantee an immediate stamp or allow offline reward redemption. Updates may take a short time after a purchase or adjustment is recorded.
For a missing stamp, check the store, order type, qualifying spend, payment status and attached customer account. Keep your receipt and contact the merchant or UpDash with the bill reference. Where supported, staff can review an eligible, synchronised in-store receipt for a missed stamp. Receipt presentation alone does not guarantee an award. A bill cannot earn duplicate stamps.
Section 07
7. CANCELLATIONS AND REFUNDS
If a cancelled, refunded or credited purchase no longer qualifies, its earned stamp is reversed. If that stamp already contributed to a used reward, your balance can become negative. Future qualifying stamps first clear that adjustment. This is a stamp correction, not a cash charge.
Example: you use a 10-stamp reward and have no stamps left. An earlier stamp-earning bill is then fully refunded. Your balance becomes minus one. The next qualifying bill brings it to zero; the following qualifying bill brings it to one.
If the whole purchase on which you used a reward is cancelled and any required payment reversal is confirmed, the reserved reward is released or the spent reward stamps are returned. A cancellation request alone is not confirmation. A partial refund does not automatically return the reward's stamp cost. Any stamp earned on the affected purchase is assessed separately.
Payment refunds follow the Customer Order Terms and the recorded amounts paid. The loyalty discount itself is not a cash payment to refund.
Section 08
8. YOUR DATA AND THE MERCHANT
UpDash uses your account identity, contact details, membership, qualifying purchase records, stamp balance and redemption activity to run the programme, verify awards, prevent duplicate use and resolve queries.
The merchant's loyalty member dashboard shows first name, surname initial and the last four phone digits, together with programme activity such as bill references, dates, order types, stamps and adjustments. It does not provide an unmask option. This does not hide information the merchant separately needs or already holds for an order, delivery or support.
Joining one programme does not give that merchant access to your activity with unrelated merchants. Membership is not permission to use your phone number for unrelated WhatsApp, SMS or telephone marketing.
The Client App Privacy Notice and Privacy Policy explain data recipients, retention, safeguards and rights. Records are retained only as needed for the service, disputes, security, accounting or legal requirements. For access, correction, withdrawal of consent or ending your membership, contact admin@updash.mu and identify the programme. We may need to verify your identity and explain any records that must be retained. Muting notifications is not withdrawal from the programme.
Section 09
9. NOTIFICATIONS AND YOUR CHOICES
UpDash may display progress and reward reminders in the app or website. Manage loyalty invitations and reward alerts in Loyalty Program settings, mute an individual programme from its details, or adjust your device's push permissions. These controls do not spend stamps or remove a membership.
Membership and promotional notification choices are separate. Contact admin@updash.mu if you need help exercising your privacy or marketing choices.
Section 10
10. PROGRAMME CHANGES AND CLOSURE
In the current stamp programme, merchants cannot edit saved programme rules after the first customer enrols. They can end a programme rather than erase its activity. Ending stops new enrolments and future earning; recorded balances and existing benefits are preserved, subject to eligible store and service availability and refund adjustments.
The current programme does not apply automatic stamp or reward expiry. This is not a promise that a restaurant or service will remain available indefinitely. If a programme or business becomes unavailable, contact UpDash to review your situation. Material future changes will be explained rather than silently replacing the rules you joined under.
Section 11
11. FAIR USE AND ACCURATE RECORDS
Use your own account and genuine purchase records. Do not submit duplicate receipts, redeem against someone else's account, share sign-in credentials or reuse a redemption code. Incorrect or duplicate entries can be corrected. Your card's Transactions section shows recorded earning, redemption and adjustments.
If you believe an entry or restriction is incorrect, keep your bill reference and contact UpDash for review.
Section 12
12. QUESTIONS AND SUPPORT
Contact the participating merchant or UpDash through the app's support options, Contact us, or admin@updash.mu. Include the programme name and bill reference, but never send your password or sign-in code.
